Photograph of an eastward view of Third Street from 200 feet west of Carondelet Street, October 18, 1933. Third Street runs from the foreground to the background at center and is newly paved. Several automobiles can be seen on the street. A gas station can be seen at left, and trees are visible at right. In the background at center, a very tall building is visible. Billboards and street lights line the street. Compares to USC-0-1-1-511 taken June 24, 1931 prior to improvements. Legible signs include, from left: "Bros. Service Inc.", "Rio Grande", and "White Magic".
