Description
Photograph of a view of Hollywood looking northeast from Hollywood High School, showing Highland Avenue, April 15, 1907. A two-story tenement-style building stands beyond the open yard of the high school to the left of Highland Avenue with the town extending towards the mountains in the background. Across the street to the right, a two-story adobe with a terracotta tiled roof can be seen. Several other non-residential buildings stand in the area before the residential section begins in the background, the houses packed closely together. Highland Avenue is unpaved and lined by telephone poles.
