This appears to be taken on the grounds of the Ambassador Hotel. Visible in the background is a sign for the Mona Lisa Restaurant which was located at 3343 Wilshire Boulevard.
Photograph caption dated July 2, 1965 reads, "President of Lions International Claude M. De Vorss greets the organization's namesake, while his wife, Bernice, holds a baby cub. De Vorss is here for the 48th annual convention of Lions International July 7 to 10."
