Description
Photograph of a street running through an unidentified oil field, [s.d.]. A wide paved road with embedded streetcar tracks runs from the foreground to the background at center. Dozens of tall metal oil derricks can be seen on the left side of the road, while a smaller number can be seen at right. Several small buildings are visible at the base of the wells and along the sides of the road. Early model automobiles line the curbs, and a man in light-colored clothing can be seen on a sidewalk in the foreground at left, standing at the base of a utility pole.
