Description
Photograph of seven men posing next to a crane helping flood control in Pomona, ca.1920. Two men stand beneath the crane's long arm at center in suits while four others hold their shovels in overalls and the last operates the crane from its base. On the right, the ground is rocky and broken while the far left reveals a fenced field. A short bridge can be seen in the background on the right, just in front of a large contraption of intertwining poles.
