Photograph of a one-acre farm near El Monte, showing a large tree at left, August, 1927. A large tree shades most of the yard behind it from the left foreground. A wire fence extends in front of the farm just behind the tree. A driveway on the right leads to a garage where an automobile sits under a second tree. Many smaller trees and trimmed bushes decorate the front of the house at center. (Gay's Lion Farm?) The image was originally dated by August 1927. However, the car in the driveway appears to be an early 1940s Chevy model.
