Description
Photograph of the Colorado River, showing construction of the Colorado River Aqueduct, ca.1930. The dark water of the river barely ripples as it flows under the lightly-colored bridge at center. The bridge connects the cylindrical building in the river to the rocky banks on the left. Behind the bridge a lightly-colored levee topped with a dark wall contains the water.
