Pitcher Dean Chance of the Los Angeles Angels, who knows the difference between a base line and a side line today went to court to prove he wasn't guilty of jay-walking last July 20. Chance and two friends were all given jay-walking tickets. They were accused of walking across the street at 7th and Burlington in an illegal manner, but Chance's attorney, Nathaniel Friedman, claimed the officer who wrote Chance's ticket made an error. Photo dated: September 10, 1983.
