Photo was taken from the roof of Holmes Hall looking northwest. Citrus groves and the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains can be seen in the distance while houses and small farms can be seen in the foreground and middle distance. Part of the roof line of Holmes Hall can be seen in the lower right corner. "Cooper's Foto Shop 224 Yale Claremont, California" is stamped on the back of the photo in blue ink.
