Description
Photograph of curving mountain road seen from a cliff, Catalina, November 11, 1927. In the foreground at center, clusters of brush and unknown vegetation border the bottom of the image. Behind the vegetation, three thin trees can be seen along the edge of a cliff. An orderly row of rocks is visible along the base of the trunks. Branches and foliage from the trees crowds the upper-right portion of the image. In the extreme background to the right, a small curving road is visible bordering the outskirts of a mountain cliff. A few small rocks can also be seen on the other side of the road. A small metal barrier separates the road from the vast expanse of ocean seen to the left, extending to the horizon.
