Description
Black and white photograph of crowds of people walking on Sacramento Street, Chinatown, San Francisco, California, 3 p.m., September 22 2002. In the center of the photograph is a young male of caucasian appearance, wearing sun glasses. All around him, everyone appears to be of Chinese origin. The street sign Sacramento is just left of center, and is in English and Chinese. On the right, affixed to a store window that has a sign saying "gifts", with Chinese ceramics showing , is an election campaign poster for Mable Teng, Assessor, in both English and Chinese. There are approximately 30 people in the photograph, most with their backs to the camera except for the young man in the center.
