Damage to the facade and side of the building from falling masonry and broken glass is evident. Three uniformed men are on top of the building possibly searching for victims inside the structure. An Altadena Emergency Ambulance is standing by. A crowd of people stand to the right. On the left side is a barracade with men and a woman standing within. Fire Station Number 1 was located at 200 West Third Street at the corner of Pacific Avenue in downtown Long Beach.
