Photograph caption dated November 15, 1947 reads, "Lodging formal complaint against band of 20 men wearing American Legion caps, who last night invaded meeting of La Crescenta-La Can~ada Democratic Club, Hugh Hardyman, right, says, "This stuff will not be tolerated." Mrs. Mae Hegland, left, who said one of the invaders carried a weapon, and Mrs. Marie Horian backed up Hardyman's complaint."
