Used in the Exhibit: Play by Play - A Century of L.A. Sports Photography, 1899-1989. The Olympic Village was dismantled after the Games. The cottages were sold and reconstructed elsewhere. Female athletes were housed at the classy Chapman Park Hotel in mid-Wilshire. Shown are some of the women athletes, relaxing in the lounge of the hotel.
