Description
This circa 1965 postcard displays the northwest corner of Sixteenth and N streets on Highway U.S. 40. Front and center is the Capitol View Motel, located just one block from the Capitol grounds and, as the back describes, "within easy walking distance of downtown, Sacramento." The back of the card also boasts telephones, television, and courtesy morning coffee.
