Description: The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on January 29, 1967 states: "This main interchange, when the South Sacramento Freeway enters the central city at Broadway, will connect the W-X and 29th-30th Streets Freeways. It is scheduled for completion by the summer of 1968. The picture was taken looking north from about the South Sacramento Freeway."
