Original photograph has several stains. Photograph caption dated May 3, 1955 reads "Mrs. Harry Charleston collapses in tears in arms of grief-stricken husband, as body of Michael Charleston, 7, is taken into ambulance. Michael was pronounced dead when all efforts to revive him after drowning failed. He had climbed eight-foot fence to fall into water pool."
