Description: Arthur Js Coffee Shop at Santa Monica Boulevard and Highland Avenue has been "seized from the bad guys and returned to the good guys" by the increased presence of uniformed police officers, according the manager, Shirley Norris. A 76 Union Oil gas station is visible on the corner of the intersection where three men are waiting to cross the street. Photograph dated July 9, 1977.
