On June 12, 1999, Long Beach residents donated to the Long Beach Public Library 398 family and personal photographs as part of this ongoing statewide project. Here, a young man stands in front of a bulletin board, pointing to a map of Cambodia. He is a Hawaiian intern, Chhavirak Chan, and he is showing students where he lived in Cambodia.
