Description
In this circa 1920 postcard, several young men take in gymnastics activities at Sacramento's Fifth and J YMCA. The building, which included a pool, indoor track and basketball courts was built in 1913 for 160,000 dollars, and held the distinction for having firebrand politician and orator, William Jennings Bryan, speak at its groundbreaking festivities.
