Two large steam locomotives are sitting on tracks at center, the one at left facing to the right and the other facing to the left. A small group of soldiers is standing near the front of the engine at right and another man is standing by himself at left. There is a large wooden engine house in the background and a line of utility poles runs between the track at center. There are four tall smokestacks near the engine house in the background at left.
