Photograph caption dated June 20, 1960 reads, "Sam Turner, commander of San Fernando Post 176 of American Legion, left, and Dan Diaz, past commander, put finishing touches on 'Post Everlasting' plaque in honor of deceased war veterans which will be dedicated tonight. Veterans' names will be attached to memorial plaque."
