After living among the Cahuilla Indians, Steffa thought to document the "facts and episodes in their every day life" and to "have the stories in written form and not alone entrusted to our memories." Chapters include: Hernanda, Leandro, the Palms, Joe, Julian, Antonio, and the land of the Cahuilla. Typescript and photographs.
