Description
"Schulkinder in Gnadenthal." ("School children in Genadendal."). The picture shows a group of approximately 40 children of African, Asian, European and mixed origin. In the middle of the group a teacher of probably European origin. Most of the girls stand on the left side. Four girls in the front row sit. The boys and a few girls stand on the right. Two boys and two girls in the front row sit. Imprinted on the image: "Schulkinder in Gnadenthal. Süd-Afrika. West. No. 414." ("Schoolchildren in Genadendal. South Africa. West. No. 414.").
