Description
Postcard of Windward Avenue from Lagoon, Venice, California, from a color illustration. Wide steps lead up from the Lagoon to Windward Ave. Automobiles and other transportation fill the street. Small boats filled with boaters launch from the boathouse on the lagoon. The number "17594" is in the lower right-hand corner of the image. "394" -- printed in front of caption.
The back of the postcard is from color illustration of a beach scene with a caption that reads "The Beach looking towards Ocean Park, Venice, Calif." Sunbathers cover the beach and in the distance buildings of Ocean Park and Venice can be seen. The number "17585" is in the lower right-hand corner of the image. "357" -- printed in front of caption.
