Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on May 6, 1967: "An open house was held today after the dedication of the Dollar Hill Fire Station of the Tahoe City Fire Department. Guests included Louis Payton of San Leandro, president of the California State Fireman's Association; secretary Chet Moller of Berkeley and Fred Dunow of Sacramento, deputy state forester. To celebrate Fire Services Week, the Tahoe City and Homewood stations, plus units at the south end of the lake, also held open houses."
