Description
Fritz Zwicky (1898-1974) was a Swiss astronomer who immigrated to the U.S. in 1925 to work with Robert Robert Millikan at the California Institute of Technology after receiving the international fellowship from the Rockefeller Foundation. He worked most of his life at the California Institute of Technology, where he made many important contributions in theoretical and observational astronomy. This collection provides insight into his family life and touches on his work as an astronomer. Footage contains scenes of trip to the Grand Canyon and Zion Park featuring wife Anna and daughters Margrit, Franziska, and Barbarina.
