Description
Two children, identified as Freddie (the taller) and Eddie Erdman, are seen leaning against a wall of the first Topanga school house which was located a mile upstream from the present day Topanga Post Office on the eastern branch of the Topanga Canyon. The school was constructed of 1" x 12" x 10 ft. long planks. The windows were nailed into the wall & could not be opened without being partly dismanteled. There was no ceiling, just an inverted V type roof.
