Description: Survey of Sycamore School at 225 West Eighth Street, historically known as the Claremont Grammar School. The present school was built in 1907 with remodeling done in 1961. This location was previously the site of Claremont's first grammar school, built in 1889, eventually moved across the street from Sycamore School.
