Description
Photograph caption dated August 26, 1964 reads "Capt. Max Schumacher of radio station KMPC hovers over David Bradley and Kim Whitley, both 5, but without helicopter, as he advises back-to-school safety precautions. Occasion was opening of Safety Town in Topanga Plaza yesterday. An intensive three-week safety program is being undertaken for the next three weeks there, prior to the opening of school, Sept. 14."
