Description
A Stinson SM-1B plane known as "City of Chicago" and one of its refueling planes, "Big Ben" at United Airport (Bob Hope Airport) in Burbank. John and Kenneth Hunter, owners of the planes, flew in several endurance runs covering about 40,000 miles in so doing. The refueling plane was flown by their brothers, Albert and Walter. Photo dated: August 2, 1930.
