Description: A piece from the 1892 January 23 edition of the Los Angeles Herald reports that the undersigned taxpayers of Vernon send their thanks to the Herald for the stand it has taken since the crookedness of the reform school in Whittier was shown by the reports of Professor J. M. Guinn and General Bouton.
