Description: Photograph caption dated April 8, 1957 reads, "Sheep graze peacefully in stubble at Hansen Dam in Pacoima, one of last remaining areas untouched by subdivision and industry which is forcing ranchers to seek more remote pastures. Vast herds of sheep and cattle roamed Valley as little as 50 years ago." Hansen Dam is located in Lake View Terrace, California.
