Description
Photograph of construction of the Colorado River Aqueduct, showing a crane over a tunnel opening, ca.1930. Two men stand against a wall which frames the dark opening of a tunnel at center. The tunnel is dug into a sandy hill where a crane stands overhead. A sheet of lightly-colored material hangs from the crane's pulley with a lightly-colored structure standing among the trees behind it. Dirt hills speckled with rocks extend into the background.
