Title supplied by cataloger.; Print contains three images.
At the 1928 Pacific Southwest Exposition in Long Beach, a costumed woman in a veil rides a two-humped camel in front of a group of spectators. "The Bazaar of Tunis" is written on the wall to identify this area of the Exposition. Written underneath in Arabic is "The Tunisian Street". The Exposition was launched to commemorate the landing of the Spanish padres and the founding of California. The Exposition buildings, designed by architect Hugh R. Davies, were modeled on North Africa's walled cities. Photograph dated: [1928].
