Typed letter from William S. Ament to J. C. Harper. Ament discusses separate meetings with Mrs. Florence Scripps Kellogg and her husband, Frederick William Kellogg concerning the possibility of continuing Ellen Browning Scripps's subscription to the Harper Hall guarantee fund; refers to a meeting between Mr. Kellogg and Ernest J. Jaqua, President of Scripps College; and donations by William L. Honnold to the library and by Mr. and Mrs. Harvey S. Mudd to the Claremont Colleges general endowment.
