Description
The Duke of Clarence writes to an unidentified officer serving in the Great Lakes Fleet during the War of 1812. He discusses the case of Mr Bland, Mrs. Jordan's brother, who was removed from the command of one of the King's vessels due to problems with addiction. He also mentions his severed connection with Mrs. Jordan.
