Panorama of upper end of Honeysuckle Creek watershed looking north towards Canada. Ridge at left is between American and Canuck Creeks. Ridge at right is between two of the three cirques at the head of this valley. Note the number of dead Alpine firs in the stand which increases fire danger. Many of these are dead as a result of girdling by bears. Montana 1920. Metcalf
