Photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on February 22, 1980 states: "A levee on property owned by George Wilson on Dead horse Island broke and flooding followed. With the help of an employee, friends and the fire department, his airplane was placed on a floating pontoon and dragged to higher ground."
