Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Photograph caption dated January 23, 1962 reads, "Judy Utz, 22, and her brother, Jim, 15, watch the latest addition to their family prepare to take a dip in the pond left by the recent rain on the lawn of their Dixie Canyon avenue home. The addition is a wild mallard who took refuge under some shrubs at the Utz home a week ago and would only come out for the corn and rice left by Mrs. Utz. That was until the rain provide him with a natural habitat. Mrs. Utz walks across the lawn, but her husband, William, was not available for the picture. He's on a duck-hunting expedition in Mexico."
