Description
This artistic rendering of the Palace of Fine Arts' rotunda and colonnade was done in circa 1915. Built under the guidance of architect Bernard Maybeck between 1913 and 1915 for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition of 1915, the depicted building was what remained from an enormous campus that stretched from Van Ness in the east to the Presidio in the west.
