Photograph of a view of hundreds of sun-bathers on Venice Beach, ca.1932. The wide, sandy beach stretches from the foreground to the background at center. Most of the beach is hidden from view by an assortment of large umbrellas and people in bathing suits. The ocean can be seen at right, while a row of large buildings borders the beach at left. In the distance at right, a long pier with several structures on it can be seen.
