Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes.
Photograph caption dated April 27, 1964 reads "It may look like a baseball that Los Angeles Angel pitcher Fred Newman is shown releasing, but as far as the Cleveland Indians were concerned Sunday it was just one 'goose-egg' after another. Newman, in his first start of 1964, pitched a six-hit shutout as the Angels won 7-0 at Chavez Ravine, breaking two-game losing streak."
