Photograph caption dated December 28, 1964 reads "Shirley Kenyon of the Reseda Bowl recently passed her third milestone in her venture for a 10-day trip to Hawaii. She qualified for the bowler of the year roll-off in the monthly competition at the Reseda Bowl. Each month four individuals are eligible to roll-off for the bowler of the year, with the grand prize being the Hawaiian trip."
