Description
17 Madrona Street. This old English sltyle building was the home of the Mill Valley Record from 1905 to 1940. The Record began life as the Marin County Enterprise in October 1899. In 1904 it became the Record Enterprise after merging with the Mill Valley Record. The MIll Valley Record had been started by a group of local men in 1901. The Record-Enterprise name became simply the Mill Valley Record in 1917. PG&E was housed here in 1949.
