Photograph article dated June 27, 1962 partially reads, "A gigantic 10-day program consisting of every possible entertainment and amusement, climaxed by a Hot Boat Racing Regatta and an open ocean powerboat race around Catalina Island is on the agenda for Redondo Beach's 70th Anniversary Celebration, set to open in the beach city June 29 and continue through July 8." Photograph shows boat racers, Mary Davis and Dick Young, who are set to participate in the West Coast Champion Speed Boat competition, part of the Hot Boat Racing Regatta.
