Written on photo: "Looking NW along track, corner Hill and Orange, Long Beach". Water covers the electric train tracks and is almost to the top of the banks along this rural stretch of Long Beach. There were heavy winter rains in Southern California in 1916 and flooding was a problem throughout the basin. Photo dated: Jan., 1916.
