Description
A man walks through the outdoor seating area of Pitfire Pizza on the corner of Magnolia and Lankershim. There are several scattered tables, chairs, umbrellas, and heat lamps in this large semi-circle area, to the left, grass and flagstone pathways can be seen. Pitfire Pizza's specialty? Barbecue pizzas of course, and something they call rollzones. Both the pizzas and the rollzones are made from organic ingredients and cooked over a hardwood-fired barbecue pit. The toppings are also grilled, adding a unique layer of smoky flavor. Pitfire Pizza is located at 5211 Lankershim Blvd, across from Magnolia Blvd. Photograph dated December 22, 2000.
