Description
COVID-19 restrictions prevented traditional, classroom-style, testing for amateur radio licenses under FCC rules. The Sonoma County Radio Amateurs under Brian Torr N6IIY developed "test rooms in a parking lot" systems for people to take the tests in their cars. Applicants were observed by an official Volunteer Examiner. Test graders were socially distanced at separate tables.
