Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Pictured are wives of members of the University of Minnesota football team who are in town to play UCLA in the Rose Bowl. The women are primping in front of a mirror. They can't be with their husbands the night before the big game so they've planned a party for themselves. It seems that all of the young women at the party, with the exception of one, are wives of Gopher team members. The one exception was the guest of honor at the gathering, five-week-old Deborah, daughter of end Bob Deegan and his wife, Jeannie. See images 00159128 through 00159133 for all photos in this series. Photograph dated January 2, 1962.
